Helping a nurseries group break COVID-19 transmission pathways

Sanondaf Hampshire South are honoured to be supporting Kiddi Caru nursery group with preventing onward transmission of Sars-Cov-2.

Our Client:

Kiddi Caru, a large nursery group with 43 sites throughout Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, Midlands and the South West.

The Challenge

Our client, headquartered in Hampshire, contacted Sanondaf Hampshire South in early January 2021 requesting emergency support with multiple nurseries across the south that had experienced confirmed cases of COVID 19.

With nursery sites spread across the breadth of England, from the Midlands down to the Southern Coast, our client required a knowledgeable, experienced service provider that could provide a consistent, effective decontamination treatment at any of its 43 sites. Furthermore, they needed reassurance that the treatment could be administered safely to the entire site: including soft toys, fabrics, food preparation and eating surfaces, electrical equipment; and the atmosphere itself.

Due to the efficacy, dry application and zero corrosive/zero chemical residue credentials of our treatments, plus our geographical reach, Sanondaf was identified as the best service provide

The Solution

Leveraging the strength of Sanondaf teams located across the South of England, Sanondaf Hampshire South quickly established a bespoke service agreement for the nurseries group that answered their need for emergency support.

Now, for each new emergency request, a treatment plan is established within 4 hours of first contact (most often this is achieved within an hour).  Treatments are completed as soon as the nurseries can safely permit entry to the Sanondaf technician, with most taking place later the same evening, ensuring minimal disruption to childcare provision.

The Outcome

Kiddi Caru are now able to respond quickly, and with  confidence, to requests for decontamination from any of the 43 nurseries (whether it be due to COVID-19 or any other infectious illness). We are delighted to consistently receive positive feedback:

“Abby and her technician were brilliant.  Abby was quick to respond and have everything organised prior to the disinfection treatment and the technician explained everything thoroughly upon arrival.  The technician was really friendly and did a great job of the entire nursery.”
